SALTED PECANS

  • Put plenty of fresh, shelled pecan halves into a large cast iron skillet.
  • Dot with margarine and place into a 275 degree oven.
  • Stir every 15 minutes for approximately one hour.
  • Should be crisp but not burned.
  • Add more margarine, if needed.
  • Let cool, add salt.
  • Store in cookie tin, or freeze.
  • Delicious!
